Project Description:
A private commission, De(Face) was created for the owner’s living room, drawing its background from the colour palette of adjacent artworks—deep forest greens and earthy tones. Yet, in a deliberate act of defiance, a striking red gesture slashes across the surface, disrupting the harmony and asserting dominance. The painting refuses to be a passive addition to the space; instead, it forces itself into view, taking priority over what came before.
